It's a New Year and all around the world people are talking about resolutions and the "New Year, New You" mentality. One of my many resolutions is to STAY healthy and get better at being gluten-intolerant. Turns out, a lot of things I loved had gluten and I always just thought my stomach was being too picky. Anyways, as part of my healthy kick start - I decided to begin the first day of 2013 with a delicious, healthy, easy peasy Acai Smoothie! Hangover cure? Nope. I was designated driver for Matthew on New Years Eve. I highly recommend it, too because we slept in like crazy and I got to enjoy it while feeling refreshed and renewed!
Ingredients:
- 1 banana
-1 handful kale
- 1 handful spinach
-1tbsp Acai Powder
-1 handful frozen mixed berries
- almond milk (to desired texture)
Directions:
Blend... duh *wink*.
